Jamie Yoon graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Political Science. She then obtained her JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Before joining Gale, Sutow & Associates, Ms. Yoon worked as a Policy Analyst at the Council of State Governments Justice Center where she focused on prisoner reentry issues, and provided technical assistance to state and local government agencies, including training, research, and policy development. She then worked as a Trial Attorney for the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services, Public Defender Division, where she represented indigent clients charged with felonies, misdemeanors, and violations of probation.
Ms. Yoon currently serves as a Lecturer at UC Irvine School of Law. In this capacity, she supervises law students in the Criminal Justice Clinic representing indigent clients in Orange County Superior Court. She brings aggressive defense strategies and significant trial experience to her work advocating for clients in the Workers’ Compensation System
